The National Union of Journalists is one of the largest independent unions for journalists in the world.
Our members work across the media, from newspapers, broadcasting and book publishing to magazines, websites, mobile devices, social media and PR agencies. They work across a diverse range of jobs – anything from reporting, writing, photography and editing to design, videography, communications and presenting.
The union is made up of workplace chapels, geographically organised branches, industrial/sector councils, equality bodies and the National Executive Council.
The Leeds and West Yorkshire NUJ branch represents members living or working in West Yorkshire.
You can find out more about the NUJ on the union’s main website.
